The ZEIT-Stiftung Ebelin und Gerd Bucerius awards travel grants for undergraduate and graduate students who will participate in the Turkologentag 2016. The ZEIT-Stiftung and the Turkologentag aim to support students who have neither travel scholarships nor funding from their universities. The applicants must be presenting or co-presenting a paper at the Turkologentag 2016.
Value of the Travel Grants
Germany/Austria: 100 Euro
Other EU-Countries: 200 Euro
Non-EU countries: 300 Euro
The award payment will made at the conference after presentation of supporting documents (ticket, receipt).

Please send your abstract, a short CV and a note on your financial situation in one document (English) to email@example.com. The application should not be longer than two pages. Please mention TRAVEL AWARD in the subject line of your mail.
Deadline: 15 July 2016
Applications will undergo review by a selection committee. Award recipients will be announced by the beginning of August 2016. They will also be recognized in the conference program and on the conference website.
